Christopher Hopkins (Director and Composer) is a graduate student completing a Master's of Music in Theory and Composition at C.W. Post. He has played organ for various churches on Long Island including St. John’s Episcopal Church in Huntington, St. Patrick’s in Bay Shore, and St. Paul’s Reformed Church in North Babylon. He studied dance for several years, including tap, ballet, jazz, and ballroom, and often incorporates his own choreography into his acts. In addition, he has been the ballet accompanist for the USDAN Center for the Creative and Performing Arts for the past three years. He was a solo performer in C.W. Post Music Department's "Broadway Night" last February.
Christopher performed Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F Major last May with the Long Island Youth Orchestra under the direction of Martin Dreiwitz, conductor. He has performed as a solo pianist and singer and is featured in C.W. Post Keyboard Club concerts. Christopher thoroughly enjoys entertaining as a solo pianist and singer at various parties and events on Long Island, New York City, and Boston. Christopher Hopkins studies piano in the studio of Prof. Stephanie Watt and voice in the studio of Prof. Barbara Fusco.
