Rehearsal #3 Report

On Friday, October 30, there was a Group rehearsal for "All's Fair in Love."  The cast members are slowly recovering from the illnesses they felt from last week.  They reviewed the ensemble numbers and learned a revised addition to the ending of "All's Fair in Love."  Those who did not read their character backstories to the group at the last rehearsal did so at this rehearsal.  The cast performed their solo and duet numbers for the entire cast to watch and react to.  The feedback from Christopher and the cast was both positive and motivational.  Each cast member received revised copies of their music and the lead-in and lead-out dialogue for each song in the musical.  They used the dialogue as a blueprint for their improvisational character work during the vamp sections of each song.  Ideas for blocking were discussed.

During the week, there was a private rehearsal between the characters Martin and Katherine in which minor alterations were made to "You Must Trust Me."  This week, more private rehearsals will take place since there will NOT be a group rehearsal on Friday due to numerous cast members having a performance with the university.
